Romania Youth Missions Trip

Key information

Dates: The trip will take place over October Half Term 2019.

Saturday, 26th October.

Flying from Luton, carpool to airport.

Wednesday, 30th October.

Returning to Bristol, carpool from airport.

Cost: We are capping trip cost at £325 per student.

Deposit: A deposit of £100 is due no later than 31st May* to secure airline tickets at current prices.

Fundraising: Students are encouraged to use support letters, summer employment, or fundraising sites to raise funds for their trip. Some limited group fundraising opportunities will be also be available over the summer. We cannot guarantee what amount will be raised, but this will be an option to help reduce costs even if just slightly.

What is covered? The price of the trip will cover airfare, accommodation, transportation and meals in Romania. It is recommended that students bring some money for snacks in the airport, souvenirs, and general spending. Romania uses the Leu as their currency.


Christian faith: To be eligible to participate in the Romania youth missions trip, students must profess an active Christian faith.

Training and preparation: Students attending the trip will be required to participate in team meetings and and local outreach opportunities prior to the trip. Details of these requirements will be shared as the time approaches.

Age: The trip is open to students age 11-18 at the time of the trip. Due to the nature of the foreign missions experience, all students under 13 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult family member.
